5/20/2023 0 Comments The jakarta method![]() The Jakarta Method is about the violence orchestrated by Washington’s anti-communist crusade, which led to the mass murder of millions of people in Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam, Chile, and many other sovereign states. This is not wrong, but it is a perspective that represents the experience of a fraction of the world’s population. As the author highlights, the popular understanding of the Cold War is that it was a conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union, in which proxy wars and indirect engagements took place in other countries.
